About Myself

I am a Class of 2017 Computer Engineering major at Case Western Reserve University. I have experience in several programming languages, including low level languages like verilog and VHDL, and web languages like PHP and JavaScript. I am also proficient in Java and Python. I have experience in almost the entire Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Dreamweaver. I have taken several leadership courses, and have held several leadership positions in Alpha Phi Omega and in the Boy Scouts of America.

Programming and Web Development

I am currently employed at Global Health Metrics as the Senior Software Developer. I write a vast majority of our software, as well as manage and update all servers and work with clients for feature upgrades and changes. I also do some volunteer programming for different organizations including WRUW-FM (Case Western Reserve's College Radio Station), and for some groups inside the Boy Scouts Of America. I have experience in the following programming languages: Python, JavaScript, PHP, Java, HTML (though strictly not a programming language), and Verilog.

Video and Media Work

I have done video editing for over ten years as a hobby, mainly for my high school robotics team and for the Boy Scouts of America. I have experience in almost the entire Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Dreamweaver. For the past 3 years, I have worked for Case Western Reserve University as a videographer. I videoed students as they discussed their research projects, and then edited the videos into 3-5 minute segments to be shown at the yearly Research ShowCASE event and on the CWRU YouTube Channel. For the past two years, I have also been a member of Rough Rider Productions, which is a student group within Case Western Reserve University that videos events for the school and the community, as well as creating original videos. I have served as Web and Technology Director and Equipment Director for Rough Rider Productions. Here, I managed our editing computers and servers as well as maintance on our cameras and drones. Also as a member of RRP, I do all the graphic work and the intros and titles for The Athenian Update, which is a video production done by our campus’ humor magazine. I also have experience creating flyers and promotional materials. I have done live and recorded audio production work for the campus radio station, WRUW. Each week I recorded and mixed the radio show, Live from Cleveland. I also work with creating a weekly live stream on YouTube of the band, which involves switching between several live cameras. I have also performed sound mixing and setup/teardown for music festivals and events, such as Studio-A-Rama, Hessler Street Fair, add more. Leadership

I have earned the rank of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America, which involved planning and implementing a project for the community. I was also involved in the Order of the Arrow, which is an honorary service organization within the Boy Scouts of America. I served in the leadership positions of Chapter Chief and Lodge Chief for my local Order of the Arrow groups. I received the Founder’s Award, which is the highest award granted within the Order of the Arrow. I also served as Conclave Director for the Order of the Arrow. As Conclave Director, I planned a weekend fellowship event which was attended by 200 do you know how many Boy Scouts and adults. I was on the Boy Scout summer camp staff for how many years, and coordinated the Order of the Arrow events and taught merit badges. My final year on summer camp staff, I served as director of the Scout Skills program. As program director, I was responsible for all the merit badges being taught in the area and for how many other staff members. I am a graduate of National Youth Leadership Training, which is a week-long leadership class offered by the Boy Scouts of America. I was invited to be on the National Youth Leadership Training staff, and served on staff for how many years. I am active in the service organization Alpha Phi Omega, and have served as your position. I was also Regionals Coordinator or whatever and planned a weekend leadership convention at Case Western Reserve University which was attended by how many Alpha Phi Omega members from the surrounding area.
